Join Luis Aguilar along with his world class, salsa and internatinal latin champion partner Anya Katsevman for their intense 5 hour workshops saturday March 21, and 4 hours on Sunday March 22, fulfilling all of your salsa dance needs.
Together we will derive the essence of salsa dance with the concepts of male/female shines showcasing how same steps can vary to suit your gender, technical application enabling all to execute any turn pattern with ease, and share the secrets behind our style.

About Luis & Anya:
Anya and Luis are quickly becoming New York's hottest new salsa talent. After taking 2nd place in the International Salsa Competition held in New York City this August they have put themselves on the map. Since then they won the San Fransisco Salsa Congress and came fourth in the ESPN World Salsa Championships along with leading the Dancesport all stars to a fourth place finish in the team devision. Born in Kiev Ukraine Anya Katsevman has been living in the United States for 15 years. She began her training at the ripe age of eleven. After watching her brother become National Champion, Anya developed her own competitive drive that hasn't stopped since. She has won over 20 prestigious world titles in the international Latin dance arena over the past 12 years.
Luis debuted in 2000 with the Salsa Mania Dance Company in San Francisco. Since then, he has performed with such giants in the Latin music industry as El Gran Combo de Puerto Rico, the Tito Puente Orquestra, Celia Cruz, Ray Barretto, Jose “El Canario” Alberto, Oscar de Leon, Eddie Palmieri, the Spanish Harlem Orquestra and Sonora Carruseles. In addition to his impressive performance credits, Luis has taken 1st place in many Latin dance competitions and Congressos such as The San Francisco International Salsa Congress, the Bay Area Salsa Dance Competition. With their combined backgrounds Anya and Luis make a dynamic duo that brings a fresh new element to the salsa dance floor.
