Pepito Gómez has taken the U.S. by storm since his May 2008 arrival from Cuba. He has earned the respect and admiration of Ben Ratliff, New York times music reviewer, fellow musicians, and fans. His popularity all over the world has been highlighted by sold-out venues like the 5000-person capacity La Tropical in Rome. His tenor voice, both beautiful and strong, has a unique timbre which is very rarely found.

Danny Lozada Guzmán is one of timba's best singers, composers, and bandleaders. These Yoshi's shows will be timba dance parties like none seen before in Oakland. The energy and sheer force of Lozada's music is stunning.
Danny's been playing around the country with various bands, including a show with Jose Pepito Gomez at SOBs in New York this Spring. It's been two years since he performed in the Bay Area and this is his Yoshi's debut. There will be an open dance floor and some of the areas best dancers attending these shows. This one-night visit to the Bay Area precedes his return to Miami, Florida. Don't miss this opportunity to see these shows.
