Get Your Heart Pumping and Your Body Grooving, Burn Fat, Tone & Tighten Your Body, all while Learning to Express Yourself Through Music & Dance.
What is Salsa Aerobics?
Salsa Aerobics is a high energy dance workout class. “90 minutes of pute and intese workout to Latin rhythms, Salsa Aerobics delivers a whole-body, beat-driven workout, as well as provides great body isolation exercises, to help you loosen up in the body and experience the freedom of moving; performed to rhythms such as Afro-Cuban, Salsa, Merengue and Reggaeton.
Like regular aerobics, Salsa aerobics helps you improve flexibility, coordination, increase stamina, strengthen your cardiovascular system, tone & tighten your body, and shed excess body fat.
We complete the dance workout with a cool down with stretches to lengthen the muscles, leaving you refreshed and relaxed.

About Terry and Cecile:
Terry and Cecile are Latin dance professors and performers from Paris. They are fresh off an international tour of salsa congresses, festivals, and special events, and on sabbatical from the dance school they founded in Paris. They are known for producing many excellent students of salsa. Whether it’s Salsa On-1, On-2 (NY style), Cuban, Cha Cha Cha, Bachata, Merengue, or Zouk, they do it all, and do it well. As dancers and performers, Terry and Cecile have an ENERGY, STYLE, and SKILL matched by few worldwide. As teachers, they have been described as DYNAMIC, CHARISMATIC, and ADDICTIVE. We are fortunate to have the rare opportunity to benefit from Terry and Cecile’s extensive Latin dance backgrounds.
After a busy couple of weeks of performing and dancing at many clubs all over the San Francisco Bay Area, and meeting many wonderful salseras and salseros, Terry and Cecile will be returning to Paris on the 21st of July. Be sure to check out their workshops the weekend of July 18th, 19th, and 20th. We will have Int/Adv Cha Cha Cha/NY On 2 Friday the 18th, Int and Adv On 1 and Cuban on Saturday the 19th, and Beginning On 1 and Cuban on Sunday the 20th. Our FAREWELL SOCIAL is Saturday night from 8p to 12 midnight.
Cost: $40 for each workshop.
2 or more workshops are $35 each.
Social is $5. Free for workshop participants

There is a new salsa night on Wednesdays at 330 Rich. It’s called Copacabana, and it’s gonna be HOT!! Wednesday night used to be my favorite night to go out. It’s not as crowded as the weekends, so there are just the serious salsa dancers that come out to play on a school night. This is a great venue with some great people supporting and promoting the night. So see you at the Copacabana!!

About Tomaj:
received his degree in Dance in 1984 and has been working as a full-time professional dancer, educator and choreographer ever since. He has pursued extensive post-graduate training in various forms of dance as well as movement education for adults. As a dance faculty member at the University of Washington, Cornish College of the Arts, the University of the West Indies, the National Ballet of Mexico and the College of Marin, Tomaj taught thousands of students the joy of dance. He has performed Internationally with the Robert Davidson Dance Company, Men at Play, and The SugaDance company. He began dancing Salsa in 1994 and has been teaching Salsa exclusively for the past 7 years. He has perfomed at the world’s largest Salsa Congress in Los Angles with The SalsaMania Dance Company and directs of the SalsaFire Dance Company in San Francisco. His focus for his professional career has been to provide the student with the highest-quality learning experience possible…Excellence in the Art of TEACHING dance. He currently trains hundreds of students Authentic Club-Style Salsa every week via group classes and private lessons throughout the San Francisco Bay Area.

STARTS Again in May 20th, 2008. Build a foundation to your dancing with world class dancers John Narvaez and Elizabeth Rojas. Founders and directors of top two Dance Companies(Salsamania and Son De Mania) in the Bay area.
Salsamania Training Team On 1 is the place to be if you want to learn the principles of salsa dancing; partnering techniques, styling, footwork, spinning, and turn patterns. The Salsamania Dance company provides a dancer with intense rehearsals, yet offers them a supportive atmosphere to facilitate faster progress.
We are committed to bringing out the best in you as a dancer by sharing our love of salsa/mambo dancing.
